#10: WWE Undisputed Championship: The Undisputed Championship, which served as the WWE Championship belt from 2002-2005 is a very strong world championship belt. While it is not overly flashy, it looks distinguished, the black and gold combination work very well together and the signature eagle and globe design work well for a belt that signified the top guy on SmackDown for years.

#9: Impact World Championship: The current Impact World Championship goes well with the renaissance Impact Wrestling has undergone recently. The red on gold makes the belt stand out, right across the center surrounded by red you see the Impact logo in gold. The red and gold side plates are also an excellent touch. Overall, it’s the perfect belt for the new and improved Impact Wrestling.

#8: NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship: The belt design that has lasted through decades and decades, the “ten pounds of gold” has a classic look that has looked good on wrestlers throughout wrestling’s illustrious history. From Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes to Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes, The various national flags and globe truly make it feel like a world championship, a belt you would see defended all over the world.

#7: AEW World Championship: This belt really uses a blend of gold and silver to perfection. The unique shape of the centerplate makes it stand out and the big AEW logo in silver makes it stand out to the rest of the belt, making sure you know exactly what promotion has this championship. The different proportions of the center and side plates make this championship belt stand out for all the right reasons.

#6: TNA World Heavyweight Championship: The original TNA World Heavyweight Championship has a timeless design. The giant eagle right front and center with the TNA logo and the words “world heavyweight wrestling champion” very visible makes it very easy on the eyes and it’s a belt that could be the top championship in the promotion for a very long time before Jeff Hardy did unspeakable things to the belt’s original design.

#5: ECW Championship: This is a belt that I will defend till the day I die. Just look at this thing. When you take one look at a championship belt and you can tell everything you need to know about a promotion, then that belt is doing a good job. The rough and gritty look of it all, the words written to look like blood, this belt is hardcore, this belt is ECW.

ree

#4: Attitude Era WWE Championship: This belt is many people’s favorite and it’s easy to see why. The giant circular design is something I’m a big fan of. The belt has a huge gold section, with a nice shade of blue to stand out, throw in a gold eagle and a clear promotion logo at the top and you have a great belt that was the top prize when wrestling was at its most popular.

ree

#3: IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Is there anything New Japan Pro Wrestling can’t do right? This belt looks like something I would love to wrestle over an hour for the chance to call mine. It uses a darker shade of gold to perfection. It has enough bright silver to contrast it. This belt looks distinguished, it looks like a top belt, it’s been held by some of the best wrestlers of all time, it does everything right.

ree

#2: Winged Eagle WWE Championship: You’d think I’d get tired of golden eagles, but no, they work every time. Here we see the best use of this with the eagle’s giant wings spread over the center plate with the eagle’s head right on the beautiful blue globe. The words “World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion” in perfect black lines let you know exactly what this work of pure art is all about.

ree

#1: the Big Gold Belt: Fun fact about this, when writing the rest of this list, I have images pulled up of the other belts, that’s not necessary for this one, because I have a sticker of this belt design right on my laptop by my keyboard, so I see it everytime I type for inspiration. The Crown right in the center signifies that whichever wrestler holds it is like the king of the promotion. The giant circular design being entirely gold gives it a unique look. The pure shiny gold of this belt, along with the red jewels decorating the outside of the center plate, make this a championship belt fit for a champion, and fit for a king, it is perfection in championship belt form.
